Hi Church Family,
As summer comes to a close, we're excited to step into a new season together! This fall is filled with some exciting LAUNCHES. We are launching TWO services on September 13th, we have new small groups and midweek gatherings, and some never-done-before events within our ministries!
Whether you're brand new to church, have been here for years, or are looking for your next step, this is a PERFECT season for you here. Take a look at what's coming up this fall and mark your calendars!
CHURCH EVENTS
Level Up EXPO & Potluck!
September 6
We will start off by celebrating our kids moving "up" into their new classes as we kick off the new school year! Then after service join us for a potluck and an EXPO of all the ways YOU can take your faith to the next level by serving! Bring a side dish to share!
The Gathering Table
September 12 - 6:30pm
Whether you're new to WNLA or simply looking to meet more people, The Gathering Table is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a meal, build friendships, and discover community.
TWO SERVICE LAUNCH
September 13 - 9am + 11am
Ferndale is growing, and our church family is growing! Join us as we officially launch TWO Sunday morning services and celebrate all that God is doing at WNLA.
Living Letters: Stories of Good News
September 16 - 6:30pm
7-week small group series
For seven Wednesday nights, we'll hear powerful testimonies of God's faithfulness from people in our church body. Get to know a few people from our church better while also stirring up more faith in your own life!

The Gathering Table Football Bash
October 11 - After church
Good food, Seahawks football game, and great company? Yes please. Whether you're a sports fan or just looking for community, this special Gathering Table is a fun way to connect. Meet after second service in the gym and bring a dish to share!
Operation Christmas Child Kickoff
October 11
4-week supply gathering
Help us begin preparing Christmas shoeboxes that will bless children around the world. We'll spend four weeks collecting supplies as we partner together to share the love of Jesus. Then join us for a fun shoebox stuffing event in November!
KIDS (0-5th grade)
Family Mariners Game
September 4
Get ready for a day at the ballpark! Kids and their families are invited to join us for a Mariners game! Registration will be sent out to all families, and updated HERE when it is open!
Stoney Ridge Day
October 2nd at 5:30pm
Time for our annual field trip to the pumpkin patch! Families, join us for a fun time at Stoney Ridge.
YOUTH (6th-12th grade)
Fifth Quarters
September 4, 18, & 24 and October 9 at 9:45pm
A high school only event! After EVERY Ferndale home football game, come to Pastor Tanner and Catyler’s house for an after party. Eat good food, play games, and hang out with friends in a safe environment.
Back to School Bash
September 9 at 6:30pm
6th-12th graders, let's celebrate the start of a new school year together! Join us for a fun evening of food, games, and worship as we kick off the fall season.
Couch Church Launch
September 20th - 9am
A weekly small group for our youth students, Couch Church creates another opportunity to connect and grow! Meet in the multi-purpose room (intern office) during first service! Then we will all go into second service together for worship with our church fam.
CREW Launch
September 27th after church
All students looking to grow in leadership, in their faith, and be a positive influence on their peers in youth group - this is for you! Our student leadership team kicks off on Sunday after second service. Sign up through our website or text “crew” to 360-776-7070.
MEN
Men's BBQ at Willem's
August 11 - 6pm
Let’s fire up the grill and have a great evening of community with the men in our church body! Meet at Willem’s home. Text “men” to 360-776-7070 for the address.
Men's Breakfast
October 24 - 8am
Good coffee, hearty breakfast, and encouraging conversations. Come start your Saturday with other men from WNLA.
WOMEN
Women's Game Night
August 20 - 6:30pm
Bring a friend and enjoy an evening full of laughter, games, snacks, and meaningful connection with the women of WNLA. Bring a snack to share and your favorite game! Meet at Sherri Benedict’s - text “women” to 360-776-7070 for the address!
Women's Worship Night
September 21 - 6:30-8pm
Together with the women from Valley Church and CTK Ferndale, we will be lifting up the name of Jesus! Come worship with us! Childcare is provided.
MARRIEDS
Outdoor Movie Night
August 14 - 8pm
Grab your lawn chairs and enjoy a relaxed evening watching the new hilarious movie, "The Breadwinner," with other married couples at Josh & Tiffany’s. Sign up and get the address by texting “marriage” to 360-776-7070. Popcorn and candy provided!
Marriage Small Group
Begins September 15
5-week small group
This five-week Tuesday night small group is designed to strengthen marriages through Biblical wisdom, practical encouragement, and plenty of laughter.
Weekend to Remember
October 23–25
Invest in your marriage during this unforgettable weekend designed to encourage, strengthen, and equip couples for a thriving relationship. More info and sign-ups coming soon.
YOUNG ADULTS (18-30)
Financial Peace University
Begins September 27
5-week course
Take practical steps toward financial freedom while building community with other young adults during this five-week Sunday series. (Skipping October 11th for potluck). Ages 16-30 are welcome!
SENIORS
Kingdom Kafe
August 13th, September 10th, October 8th at 11:30am
Enjoy a delicious meal, meaningful conversation, and fellowship with friends during this monthly gathering. Bring a dish to share!
We believe God has incredible things in store this fall, and we can't wait to experience this season together. Whether you come to one event or all of them, we hope you'll find opportunities to grow in your faith, build lasting friendships, and become even more connected to the WNLA family.
